In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS social networking app landscape in Malta experienced notable trends, as captured by Sensor Tower.

Threads saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 476 and reaching a peak of 674 by mid-June. Despite this growth in downloads, there was no reported revenue for the app during this period.

Telegram Messenger showed a varied performance in weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $434 to a high of $809 in late May. Downloads, however, showed a slight decline over the quarter, beginning at 267 and ending at 182.

Life360: Stay Connected & Safe maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $413 in early June. Download numbers varied, starting at 161 and gradually increasing to 237 by the end of June.

Google Meet reported no revenue, but the download trend remained relatively stable, opening at 192 and closing at 123.

Lastly, Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out exhibited a revenue increase, peaking at $351 in mid-May, while downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 120 and ending at 116.
